AMAZON CRUIZE - 2016 PROGRAM – Individual Sales
4-DAY / 3-NIGHTS ITINERARY
1º day (Thursday):
Transfer to the ship and installation in cabins. Boarding at 2pm from Tropical Hotel Pier. Welcome drink and snacks on board.
Navigation starts at Rio Negro, passing by the historical center, downtown antique constructions, which recalls the golden era of the rubber boom (1880 – 1915).
Arrival at Meeting of the waters, where both rivers, Rio Negro (Black River) and Solimões (Muddy color river), run together without mixing the black waters with muddy waters.
Visit of the Janauary Ecological Park. Observation the famous water lilys, and enjoy the sunset.
Dinner on board
2º day (Friday):
Breakfast on board.
Visit the Seringal Museum to learn about the rubber boom. Lunch on board. Arrival at Praia do Tupé (Tupé Beach) to swim and kayaking in the Rio Negro. Departure on the motorized canoe to visit a typical indigenous house and watch a presentation of the Desana Indians – a native tribe.
Dinner on board.
Departure Jacaré (caiman) spotting with flashlights, to know the anatomy of this fabulous animal. Return to the ship.
Before going to sleep will be served Caldeirada de Piranha, a typical Amazonian food. Navigation towards the village of Novo Airão
3º day (Saturday):
Breakfast on board.
Visit of Novo Airão city and observation of the famous Botos (Amazon dolphins). Lunch on board. Free Time to swin in the Rio Negro. Visit the Malaquias Fundation, where you will learn about the Caboclo handicrafts.
Return to the ship. Special dinner on the beach.
Navigation towards the Lago do Acajatuba.
4º day (Sunday):
Breakfast on board.
Morning tour on the motorized canoe towards the Acajatuba community, to visit a typical ribeirinha community, to learn about their customs, lifestyle and curiosities.
Trip back to Manaus, arrival at 12:00. Disembarking and transfer to the airport.
End of services.

1. By Amazon Santana Exclusive Cruise: If it is not possible to do the trip, the Amazon Santana
Exclusive Cruise reserves the right to cancel the trip or propose an alternative on the same level.
2. By the passenger: substantial penalties will apply for cancellation at less than 45 days' notice.
- Less than 45 days before the trip: 10% of the total price
- Less than 30 days before the trip: 25% of the total price
- Less than 15 days before the trip: 50% of the total price
- Less than 5 days before the trip: 100% of the total price
ALTERATIONS
1. By Amazon Santana Exclusive Cruise: Amazon Santana reserves the right to make any adjustment or alteration to the services, either for operational reasons, or for the security and comfort of the passengers.
2. By the passenger: Any alterations requested by the passengers, after full payment has been received, will generally incur an amendment fee, and may involve penalties and/or additional costs; amendments will only be effected once additional payment has been received.
